China

Hey everyone,
We are unable to see the blog at the moment because of the restrictions placed on the internet in China, so it is a little hard to post pics and lots of comments, I hope it is all working and you can still see it though. So this is why we are not reading and replying to any comments.

We are in Suzhou now, they say it is only a small city because it ONLY has 7.9 million people. It is a bit quiter than Shanghai tho. we are still getting lots of stares from the locals, but we do stick out like a sore thumb. Even less ppl speak English here, its quite funny hey, if you could see us trying to communicate. We are with our group now, they are all aussies! Only 1 other guy, and 7 out of the 14 of us are teachers or student teachers (think it is because it is school holidays in aus) We visit the water village tomorrow, and then we head out to Xian on an overnight sleeper train, they are always fun! We get to go see the Terracotta Wariors so I am really looking forward to that.

Weather is still really hot, no more rain though...
Kurt and I are eating more local food, but it is not like the chinese resteraunts in aus.
Having an awesome time, missing everyone.
Hope all is well back home.
Luv yas
Mr and Mrs Sawyer
